Introduction

This document is the PC SPAD Monitor (PSM) Management Briefing Note. It is intended to give Network Rail management an overview of the PSM.

A signaller briefing note (SCS-PSM-UG-1) has been produced describing the general operation and behaviour of the system.

Single-sheet, laminated signaller instructions are provided for each IECC workstation where the PSM is installed, listing site-specific information such as the identities of any signals that are not monitored or any that are only partially monitored.

Separate briefing notes have been prepared for the technicians (SCS-PSM-UG-3) and data preparation staff (SCS-PSM-UG-6). There is also a Technical Handbook (IECC 6013, SAO-IEC-HT-66) and an Installation Guide (SAO-IEC-TG-12).
