Introduction

This document holds data methods which have been made obsolescent by newer methods shown in SSI8003. The purpose in recording these obsolete data methods is to permit data prepared to such methods to be subsequently altered for minor changes to signalling schemes without upgrading the data to the current method.

Before using this document to make such data changes, it is incumbent on the user to establish what data method has been used, whether any subsequent modifications to the data may have been made, or whether the data is a hybrid utilising various data methodologies. The user is also required to establish whether the Infrastructure Controller does in fact require the old data method to be adhered to rather than upgrade the data to the current method.
