INTRODUCTION

Prior to this amendment projects have commissioned PoSA Signals to specifics set by those projects. These are described in issue 9 of DIS149. Generally, CBI interlocking equipment connected to TFM’s and a VDU control system shall be utilised, however for consistency with previous issues this paper will continue to be written from an SSI perspective.

The standards for the application of PoSA signals have been reasonably defined within NR/L2/SIG/30009/GKRT0060 and NR/L2/SIG/30009/GERT8071 issue 1 (which incorporated GE/RT8071 issue 2 when adopted by NR), with guidance from RSSB GE/GN8571 issue 2.

PoSA routes are not provided at automatic signals.
