The new HPSS FPL record card (NR/SMS/T04/RC/03) will supersede NR/SMS/T04/RC/01 & 02 and shall be applied during all FPL tests as directed by NR/SMS/Test/004. The new record card can be used to record the outcome of tests using the latest Psion Handset or the newly approved TDS Recon Handset.

Purpose

This Technical Instruction is being issued to introduce a new FPL Record Card, replacing NR/SMS/T04/RC/01 (Site) and NR/SMS/T04/RC/02 (Supervisor), for use with HPSS Point Operating Equipment. The new record card has been developed as a result of the HPSS reliability programme in co-operation with the Maintenance function. The new card will include an additional checklist, designed to support on-site knowledge. Completion of this checklist is only necessary following HPSS point performance issues.
