This Technical Instruction applies to SFI Level 2 and Level 3 staff and revises SMTH Part 5/S001 by adding a new Section 23. It applies to wrong side failure investigation on equipment which has been taken into operational use but has not been taken over by the Maintenance organisation.
Purpose
To advise Signal Failure Investigation Level 2 and Level 3 staff that project managers shall be informed when wrong side failures happen to newly commissioned infrastructure that has been taken into operational use but has not been taken over by the Maintenance organisation.
