This Technical Instruction applies to Maintenance contractors and Renewals contractors whenever they need to replace certain Thales components on a Railtrack TPWS installation, either due to a defect or through changes to the associated infrastructure. The instruction covers the method of recording component changes. The actual change must be implemented following the appropriate faulting, renewal & maintenance processes (see section 4 References below).
