Introduction
This instruction describes how to carry out the re-gauging of plain line on timber sleepered track.
For the purposes of regauging plain line on timber sleepered track the standard gauge is 1435mm unless it is plain line on vertical baseplates (usually between switch and crossing units) when standard gauge is 1432mm.
