Introduction

This track work information sheet explains how to correctly scope and change a half set of switches in jointed or CWR track. This process can also be used when changing a full set of switches.

This job requires work to be carried out by S&T staff and close cooperation and planning with them is needed. If replacing strengthened S&C, welding staff will also be required.
