This edition of the Standard (NSF/ANSI 305-2009e - Addendum) includes the following revisions:
Issue 4 - Sodium Benzoate
Table 5.2 ? Preservative ingredients allowed in "Contains Organic" products has been revised to allow for using Sodium Benzoate derived from partial petroleum feedstock, until it can be replaced with a non-petroleum feedstock.
Issue 5 - Grapefruit seed extract
Additional language has been added for clarifying Grapefruit Seed Extract in Table 5.2 - Preservative ingredients allowed in "Contains Organic" products.
