Dehumidification is a critical issue in the design of HVAC systems, particularly in hot and humid climates. The dehumidification is to use cooling coils in the HVAC system, which not only removes moisture but also produces condensate soft water. The soft water produced can get employed for various applications, such as irrigation, washing, and other processes that require high-quality water, such as coolant in industrial processes’ cooling, which reduces the demand for water and energy resources. On the other hand, high humidity levels in indoor spaces can lead to discomfort, mold growth, and other indoor air quality issues. This paper discusses the importance of dehumidification in HVAC design and explores innovative methods to increase the dehumidification capacity of cooling systems to use water for other purposes. The design incorporates features such as airflow rate control and uses efficient energy saving methods to maximize heat transfer and moisture removal. Also, this method will get used for a cooling process to evaluate its effectiveness and efficiency. In the last step, the outcomes can get compared with the conventional HVAC systems. The results demonstrate that the proposed method design can efficiently remove moisture from the air to produce more soft water. The research will conclude by summarizing the key findings and highlighting future research directions in this area.
