The quantity of heat transfer from heated flow caused by convection force in a car radiator is examined in this research paper. Four cross-section pipes—with circular, elliptical, rectangular and flat tube geometries are examined to study the effect of cross section on heat transfer. Nusselt values evaluated using 3D simulations in the ANSYS Fluent workbench. With the use of accessible experimental data, the numerical results are validated. The pressure drop in each case is also examined, and the results are compared. It is demonstrated that the cross-section geometry of the pipelines has a significant impact on how much heat is transferred and how much pressure is lost. For each form of arrangement, the impact of the volume fraction of the nanofluid, Al2O3, on heat transfer and pressure drop is also explored.
