Describes measurements in a new test facility of the solubility and viscosity of mixtures of HCFC-22 in two commonly-used 150 SUS lubricants. Reports results for liquid mixtures of 10% to 40% HCFC-22 (by mass) in a 150 SUS alkylbenzene over the temperature range 38degC to 149degC (100degF to 300degF). Also presents the results of a non-linear regression analysis that provides empirical correlations of these data. Comparisons with the limited data previously published in the open literature show that reasonable agreement is obtained.
