Experimentally obtained temperature correlations are developed to predict the performance of rigid impregnated cellulose evaporative medium with inlet water temperatures between those of ambient dry-bulb and wet-bulb. This study considers mass flow rate ratios of water to air up to 0.8 in value. These correlations can be used in conjunction with the results of a previous study by the principal author to select a proper medium size for many different applications. A sample problem is presented and solved using these results.

KEYWORDS: experiment, performance, temperature, water temperature, calculating, rigid, cellulose, air flow rate, water flow, evaporative cooling, wet bulb temperature
