The paper shows a completely self-learning and predictive method for the control of Thermally Activated Building Systems (TABS). The novel algorithm is based on a multiple linear regression technique and implemented in MATLAB. The building and TABS model are created under the simulation environment TRNSYS. Compared to conventional control strategies of TABS no parameterization of heating and cooling curves is necessary and the thermal comfort is improved.
