The EPR Technical Code for Civil works (ETC-C) published by AFCEN, concerns safety class buildings and civil engineering structures, the failure of which can have consequences on the nuclear safety of the power station.
The ETC-C Code contains precise and practical rules for the design, construction and testing of the EPR civil engineering structures, on the basis of European standards for structures (Eurocode), or French rules in case of specific safety provisions.
It is designed to be used in the frame of the contractual relationships between customers and suppliers.
The first edition of ETC-C dated 2010 is available in English
version.
A French version will be published in 2013.
