The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) played a key role in developing the BACnet standard and the companion testing standard that is now used as the basis for BACnet Testing Laboratory listed products. Now BACnet technology is the key to bringing integration and harmony to the disparate building automation and control products used on the NIST campuses.
