1. Scope

This Standard specifies requirements for organic adhesives suitable for bonding polystyrene insulation to itself and to interior and exterior surfaces of concrete, brick, and dry wall or similar porous surfaces in building construction, for application between temperatures of -10?C and 38?C. Note: This Standard does not address odour or tainting of food.
Before an adhesive is used in areas where food is stored or prepared, the manufacturer should be contacted to confirm suitability.
