This paper gives an improved static-regain method on the basis of Gain-Loss Balance Equation which the author has derived. The method is very easy to use in various conditions of high, medium, or low velocity supply duct systems. Balance could be ensured, noise sources--dampers--could be decreased and total pressure loss could be cut down without spending more on life-cycle cost.
