ASHRAE Standard 62 covers a wide range of issues related to indoor air quality. However, the Ventilation Rate Procedure is arguably the heart of the standard and the Standard 62 committee is working very hard to revise that procedure. The most recent manifestation of that effort is Addendum 62n, which is out for a second public review through Sept. 24, 2001. This short article is intended to provide some background on the revision and to briefly describe the addendum.
