It is geared towards early career professionals and those who want to review the concept of high-performance buildings. The two-hour course provides insight into various topical areas associated with high-performance buildings and is structured around the ASHRAE publication High-Performance Buildings Simplified: Designing, Constructing, and Operating Sustainable Commercial Buildings. The course discusses a broad range of fundamentals presented from a 15,000-foot perspective. It is the first in an upcoming series of HPB courses and sets the pathway for the more detailed follow-up courses.
