To obtain higher quality indoor environments, changes in air-distribution strategy are needed. The author says that although the implementation of advanced air distribution (AAD) systems may be challenging, they could eventually replace total volume air distribution (TVAD) systems, stating that AAD has the potential to aid in achieving healthy, comfortable and productive indoor environments.
