ASHRAE has had a long history of supporting energy conservation and offers a broad range of standards, guidelines, handbooks, and design technology that promote the efficient use of energy. Our mission statement is “To advance the arts and sciences of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigerating to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world,” which inherently includes energy conservation.
