Introduction to Building Decarbonization PDF

This is an archived recording of the 2023 online version of the course. The course materials, continuing education credits, and/or professional development hours are not available. This course describes the primary sources for carbon emissions in buildings and explains the key drivers for decarbonization. Carbon accounting options in buildings, current offset strategies, and electrification technology applications are discussed. Case studies will be offered to demonstrate real-world applications as well as US and world statistics.
