This Recommendation provides the security assurance framework for digital financial services (DFS). It also specifies a systematic security risk management process for identifying and assessing threats and vulnerabilities and identifies appropriate security controls to address vulnerabilities and mitigate risks, which needs to be implemented by the DFS provider and mobile network operator. It can be used to implement security controls for protecting the user, mobile device, mobile network operator and DFS provider.
