A typical heat pump system was constructed and experiments were carried out to analyse the cycle performance and heat transfer characteristics of the system using various refrigerants. Includes the results of experiments using refrigerant mixture of R32/R134a, and the results are then compared with those of R22. The experiments are mainly focused on the condensation heat transfer in the heat pump test rig where water is used as a secondary fluid.
