Since the first course in the field of HVAC was offered at this university in 1917, a full complement of academic offerings, both on- and off-campus, has been developed. This paper takes a very brief look at the early course offerings and then concentrates on the wide range of HVAC educational activities provided today. The influence of ASHRAE and of the computer are discussed.
