Performance Criteria for Mechanical Residential Ventilation Systems with Application to Practical Test Audits of Four Residential Buildings PDF

Performance criteria and some important target values for residential mechanical ventilation systems with heat recovery (VS/HR) are reported and subsequently applied to four audit cases. For each audit case, a characterization of the building, its energy performance, and VS/HR, as well as the scope and main results of the audit, are given. Finally, a table with a selection of these performance criteria and the corresponding audit values of the four cases demonstrates that this criteria list serves as a valuable tool to compare and evaluate different VS/HR.
