PH-2526 -- Design Study on Solar Energy Systems for Commercial Buildings PDF

This study was carried out for the Canadian Government. The objectives were:

1. To provide detailed conceptual designs for conventional and solar-assistedmechanical systems for the building.
2. To develop the designs so that the systems can be analyzed by computersimulation in a future phase of this work.
3. To provide detailed, itemized cost information for each system.

Economic analysis, computer simulation of thermal performance and significantarchitectural changes were not part of the objectives of this study.
