  1. To develop a consistent method of testing adsorbents in dynamic liquid line conditions for organic acid removal capacity from circulating refrigerant and lubricant.
  2. To determine the repeatability of the test method between tests under identical conditions.
  3. To determine the effects of refrigerant and lubricant selection.
  4. To demonstrate that the method can be used with and without the presence of water.
