The primary objective of this project is to develop a methodology that can be used to quantify the effect of fenestration design on occupant human thermal comfort. The means used to evaluate the impact of fenestration on thermal comfort are the Mean Radiant Temperature and the Operative Temperature. These thermal comfort parameters also are related the Enhanced Temperature, ET*, the Percentage of People Dissatisfied (PPD), and the Predicted Mean vote (PMV ).
