RP-143 -- Design Procedures and Selection Guide for Hot Water Coils to Attain a Well Controlled System PDF

This report presents a series of case studies which were undertaken to explore the relative influences of the various components present in the control loop for the discharge air temperature control system in Figure 1. The case studies described were obtained from simulations utilizing a form of the mathematical model described in a previous report. The block diagram presented in the upper portion of Figure 2 shows the elements present in the overall system and the transfer functions shown are the linearized version of those described in detail in reference.
