This final report on 1466-RP outlines researcher's attempts to develop a calibration reference device that could be used in test facilities that conform to ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 52.2-2007.
The objective of this project was to develop at least one primary calibration reference device that would allow laboratories that test particulate air filters to verify that their MERV procedure provides the value intended, and provide test laboratories a means of checking their entire test facility and protocols for compliance with the intent of the Standard.
