The principle objective of this research study was to assess and develop advanced numerical calculation (CFD) methods suitable for simulating the movement of indoor air under forced ventilation conditions, hence to predict air velocity and temperature within a space. Although the ultimate goal is to document an advanced convection calculation method for modeling both interand intra-room air movements, this particular project focused attention to a single zone calculation.
