Many industrial warehouses in operation around the world use forced convection unit coolers. These units must provide air conditioned to the proper temperature, humidity, and velocity so that the stored product will not deteriorate over time. Engineering handbooks have been written on die design and operation of refrigerated warehouses with respect to the evaporator. However, design is always being improved as more experience is gained. Researchers and engineers communicate their experiences dirough literature. The goal of this document is to compile this literature and search for similarities and discrepancies between authors.
