This study examines the performance of capillary tubes having R-407C as the working fluid. A correlation with a mean deviation of 2.78% was proposed to correlate the present test data. In addition, the effect of coiling on the performance of a capillary tube was quantitatively investigated. A correlation was proposed to describe the relation between straight and coiled capillary tubes.
