The standard formalizes how data about equipment capacity and efficiency are represented for a range of operating conditions. This lays the groundwork for automated import into software applications such as energy simulation models, eliminating the need for laborious and error-prone transfer from printed documents. The session presents general background on the standard and introduces proposed schemes for chiller and unitary equipment performance data.
