This paper provides a critical review of the most recently published literature on heat transfer, pressure drop, and flow patterns of refrigerant mixtures, including refrigerant/refrigerant-oil mixtures. Where possible, comparison of the predicted values with those of experiments is presented and discussed. The present study builds upon an earlier literature review in this area, but it additionally covers refrigerant-oil mixtures and focuses on the work most recently reported in the literature.
