Part One specifies minimum requirements for the design of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures. Applicable only to structures and parts of structures complying with the materials and workmanship requirements of NZS 3109: 1987. Part Two explains the provisions of Part One and provides background information and references for some requirements. In certain cases it suggests design approaches which satisfy the intent of Part One. Comprises two separate publications: Part One: The design of concrete structures, and Part Two: Commentary on the design of concrete structures.
