Includes requirements for the photometric performance of various types of lamp, to ensure that they will provide an effective warning signal, and covers the specific requirements for design and construction of battery-operated lamps. It also requires the provision of facilities which will enable the lamps to be effectively used and readily maintained. Identical to AS 1165:1982 with modifications for New Zealand.
