This Practice provides the manufacturer and the contracted installer of standard steel doors and frames with a specification for manufacturing and installing steel doors and frames to be used in process industry facilities.
This Practice describes the requirements for all material, fabrication, finishes, delivery, and installation of standard steel doors and frames. This Practice does not include requirements for finish painting. Any conflicts or inconsistencies between this Practice, the design drawings, or contract documents shall be brought to the attention of the owner for resolution.
