This Practice provides pre-engineered metal building contractors and manufacturers with a specification for pre-engineered buildings. It describes the requirements for design, fabrication, and erection of pre-engineered metal buildings. This Practice does not address foundation requirements, interior finish out, cranes, specialty requirements, or building systems such as fire protection, electrical, or mechanical systems.
Any conflicts or inconsistencies between this Practice and other contract documents shall be brought to the attention of the buyer for resolution.
