This Practice provides instructions for preparing a Process Analyzer Shelter Data Sheet. If prepared in accordance with this Practice, PIP PCSPA003-D can provide the complete requirements for an analyzer shelter. To assure the proper operation an analyzer system, it may be necessary to provide appropriate environmental protection. An analyzer shelter is used for added protection if the intrinsic protection offered by an analyzer enclosure is not suitable for the working environment. Analyzer shelters are not typically considered to be occupied structures.
