Purpose
This manual has been developed to provide guidance for fi eld personnel involved in installation, stressing, and fi nishing of unbonded single strand tendons. This manual also provides information for inspection of construction utilizing unbonded single strand tendons, and contains extensive discussion of job site troubleshooting for this type of construction.
It should be understood that while the details and recommendations presented in this manual are intended to represent generally accepted industry practice, the practices of individual companies on specifi c items (in particular, procedures for operation of stressing equipment) may vary from the details and recommendations presented here. In the event of any confl ict between this manual and the contract documents or written instructions from the post- tensioning supplier, the contract documents or written instructions shall always govern.
