These Acceptance Standards for Post-Tensioning Systems provide generally applicable technical requirements for post-tensioning systems used in bridges, buildings, ground anchors, and other structures- Special project related requirements, which are not addressed herein, must be supplemented in the project's Special Provisions. For such cases the commentary gives technical background information.
The requirements herein are not intended to be applied to unbonded monostrand post-tensioning systems.
