This specification covers a corrosion-resistant steel in the form of sand or centrifugal castings.
These castings have been used typically for parts, such as accessory components, requiring corrosion resistance and strength up to 600 degrees F (316 degrees C), but usage is not limited to such applications. Certain processing procedures and service conditions may cause these products to become subject to stress-corrosion cracking; ARP1110 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
