These recommendations are to aid the international air transport industry by identifying a standard, minimum amount of safety instructions that shall ben given in passenger safety information briefing cards and, if available passenger safety video briefings. Aircraft operators are encounraged to customize the passenger safety information briefing cards and safety videos for their own operations.
The purpose of this ARP is to assist airlines, as well as corporate and private operators, in producing safety information briefing cards and videos which will reinforce and expand passenger knowledge of the safety equipment and procedures designed for passenger use.
