This document prescribes the minimum performance standards for wheels, brakes, and wheel and brake assemblies using electric power actuation to be used in lieu of certain corresponding requirements of Appendix 1 to the TSO-C135, Sections 3.3, 3.4, and 4.1 with approval of the Certifying Authority.
Compliance with this specification is not considered approval for installation on any transport airplane.
The Certifying Authority for the airplane for which the equipment is intended should be consulted for concurrence with the approaches proposed herein as an acceptable performance demonstration for the wheels, brakes, and wheel and brake assemblies for approved equipment.
