The purpose of this report is to present tips for heat treat, stress relief, and creep straightening of titanium. Begins with background notes on heat treatment, but primary focus is on spacing of supports to prevent permanent distortion called creep and on heat treat tips from lessons learned. Includes notes on fabrication of defense and space parts from titanium plate and castings. These notes are extracts from my notebook, Notes on Titanium. Processes were developed during the period, 1991 to 1997, while resolving various machining problems in support of the F-22.
