The advent of the hot fill PET bottle has allowed producers to take advantage of this new and popular package technology. Already we see 1/3 to 1/2 of the grocery store shelf in plastic instead of glass. The capping technology we have been discussing allows producers to efficiently exploit all of this package's advantages.
