Methods of molding plastic closures with internal threads range from the stripped and collapsible core methods to unscrewing options such as the rotary core mold. This paper reviews the limitations of each before presenting the benefits of an alternative method of unscrewing parts from stationary cores--the patented 'Rotating Ratchet Ring' approach.
